Anantnag, : Government Medical College Anantnag organized a warm send-off for outgoing Chief Accounts Officer *Mr. Mohd Ayub Lone (KAS)* on his transfer and extended a cordial welcome to *Dr. Javid Maqbool Khanday (KAS)* as the new Chief Accounts Officer and *Mr. Muqbil Lateef Hussain (KAS)* as the new Administrative Officer, at an impressive function held in the College Administrative Block today.
The function was presided over by Principal / Dean GMC Anantnag, *Prof. (Dr.) Rukhsana Najeeb* , and attended by Heads of Departments, faculty, Deputy Medical Superintendent, and staff from accounts, establishment, and administrative sections.
Prof. Rukhsana lauded Mr. Mohd Ayub Lone for his exemplary service, financial discipline, and pivotal role in budget planning, procurement, and audit compliance during the crucial growth phase of the institution. Senior faculty and staff recalled his accessibility, problem-solving approach, and commitment to transparency.
Mr. Lone thanked the GMC Anantnag fraternity for their cooperation and support throughout his tenure. He described his time at the institution as “professionally enriching” and conveyed best wishes to the incoming officers.
Welcoming Dr. Javid Maqbool Khanday (KAS) and Mr. Muqbil Lateef Hussain (KAS), the Principal highlighted the expanding responsibilities of GMC Anantnag in healthcare delivery, academics, and infrastructure development.
