The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. During the session, police officers sensitised the participants about various forms of cybercrime, including online frauds, phishing attacks, identity theft, social media scams, cyber bullying, and financial frauds. The students were educated about safe internet practices, protection of personal data, creation of strong passwords, and the importance of reporting suspicious online activities promptly.
The speakers also highlighted the growing threat of cyber-enabled crimes and advised students to remain vigilant while using digital platforms. Practical examples and interactive discussions were used to help participants understand the modus operandi adopted by cyber criminals and the preventive measures required to stay safe online.

Anantnag Police reiterated its commitment to spreading awareness and building a cyber-secure society through continuous outreach and educational programmes across the district.
