MLA Adv Abdul Majeed Larmi Accompanies Minister During Grand Opening Ceremony on KP Road
Anantnag, May 24: Cabinet Minister for Health, Medical Education, Higher Education and Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo on Saturday inaugurated the newly established Jaan Hotel, Restaurant & Marriage Hall at New Qazibagh on KP Road in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by local dignitaries, business personalities, social activists and residents from different parts of the district. MLA Shangus-East Constituency, Abdul Majeed Larmi, accompanied the Minister during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sakina Itoo appreciated the efforts of the management for establishing a modern hospitality facility in Anantnag and said that such ventures play an important role in promoting tourism, generating employment opportunities and strengthening the local economy.
She said the government is committed to encouraging youth and entrepreneurs to come forward with business initiatives that can create jobs and provide better facilities to the public. The Minister further stated that the development of the hospitality sector is essential for economic growth and public convenience in the region.
MLA Adv Abdul Majeed Larmi congratulated the owners and management of the newly inaugurated hotel and marriage hall and termed the initiative a positive step towards boosting commercial activities in Anantnag town. He expressed hope that the establishment would provide quality services to people visiting the district.
The programme was held in a festive atmosphere, with guests and local residents participating enthusiastically in the inaugural function. Several speakers highlighted the need for modern restaurants and marriage halls equipped with better facilities to cater to the growing public demand in south Kashmir.
Owner of the establishment, Bilal Ahmad Mir, while addressing the gathering, thanked Minister Sakina Itoo, MLA Adv Abdul Majeed Larmi, Vice District President JKNC Imran Shah and other guests for attending the inauguration ceremony. He said that Jaan Hotel, Restaurant & Marriage Hall has been established with the aim of providing quality hospitality and event services to the people of Anantnag and adjoining areas.
Bilal Ahmad Mir further announced that special discounts and affordable packages would be available for everyone visiting the restaurant and marriage hall. He assured customers of quality food, modern facilities and the best possible service standards.
