Srinagar, May 4 : A delegation of the Core Group of Industrial Estate Pampore (IE Pampore) on Monday held separate meetings with Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmad Rana, Minister for Agriculture, Javid Ahmad Dar, and Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo to discuss the long-pending land possession issue concerning Industrial Estate Pampore.
The delegation was led by Core Group President Khalid Subhan Wani and included Vice President Khan Yasir, General Secretary Nasir Ahmad, and Advisor Sheikh Abid.
During the meetings, the delegation presented a detailed briefing on the present status of the land possession file, outlining the progress achieved so far and stressing the need for its early placement before the Cabinet for a final decision. The members highlighted that the resolution of the issue is vital for the expansion and development of Industrial Estate Pampore and would help restore confidence among the industrial community.
The delegation also emphasized that an early decision on the matter would provide long-awaited clarity to industrial stakeholders and facilitate further industrial growth and investment in the region.
The two ministers assured the delegation of their full support for the proposal when it comes up for consideration before the Cabinet. They acknowledged the importance of resolving the issue and expressed commitment to facilitating its progress through the appropriate channels.
Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo also gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that the administration would continue to give due attention to the matter in accordance with the established procedures, while ensuring that the process moves forward.
Expressing satisfaction over the positive response received during the meetings, the Core Group thanked the ministers and the Chief Secretary for their time, constructive engagement and assurances. The delegation expressed hope that the matter would now move ahead expeditiously, bringing long-awaited relief and certainty to the industrial stakeholders associated with Industrial Estate Pampore.
