Issue of Harassment of Kashmiris Will Be Taken Up in Assembly”: CM Omar Abdullah

Jammu, Feb 3: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that concerns related to the alleged harassment and victimisation of Kashmiris will be discussed on the floor of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.

Speaking to reporters outside the J&K Assembly complex in Jammu, CM Omar, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), said, “There will be a discussion in the Assembly on the issue of harassment and targeting of Kashmiris.”

When asked to comment on the Union Budget, the Chief Minister declined, stating that he would reserve his views for the House. “I will speak on the budget only inside the Assembly,” he said. (KNC)
