Anantnag, Mar 23: A labourer from Uttar Pradesh was found dead at Khahbazar Janglatmandi area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, officials said.
Officals told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the deceased, a resident of Uttar Pradesh who had been living in the area for the past several years, was found hanging inside his accommodation.
The body was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for medico-legal formalities. After completion of necessary procedures, the body was handed over to the family for last rites.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (KNC)
