Srinagar, Apr 20: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) on Monday restricted its media engagement to a select list of 14 spokespersons, warning that any unauthorised interaction with the press would be treated as a violation of party protocols.
Party chief spokesperson Dr. Mehboob Beg said only officially designated spokespersons and additional spokespersons have been permitted to give interviews, participate in debates, or issue reactions to media outlets. He said the step was taken to ensure “consistency, accuracy, and accountability” in public communications.
“Any unauthorised engagement with the media may lead to misrepresentation and will be treated as a violation of established communication protocols,” he added.
The approved list includes Adv. Firdous Tak, Adv. Aditya Gupta, Mohd Iqbal Trumboo, Najmu Saqib, Mohit Bhan, Syed Iqbal Tahir, Syed Tajamul, Mohd Amin Dar, Zuhaib Yousf Mir, Varinder Singh Sonu, Tazeem Dar, Shouqia Qureshi, Rajat Randhawa, and Adv. Showkat Choudary.
