New Delhi, Jan 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared key highlights from the 130th episode of his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the first episode of 2026, which coincided with National Voters’ Day.
In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of democratic participation, calling voting a privilege and a responsibility.
“The first #MannKiBaat episode of 2026 took place on National Voters’ Day. Let the becoming of a voter be an occasion of celebration. After all, being a voter is a great privilege and responsibility,” he said.
The Prime Minister also urged citizens to make 2026 a year of quality and excellence, highlighting the vision of ‘Zero Defect, Zero Effect’.
“Let us make 2026 about quality. Let us focus on ‘Zero Defect, Zero Effect’. Let us ensure, Made in India equals Excellence,” he added.
Through his address, the Prime Minister encouraged people to actively contribute towards strengthening democracy and enhancing the quality of Indian products and services on the global stage.
