Technology company Nex Computers has unveiled its latest innovation, the NexPhone, a rugged smartphone capable of running three operating systems Android, Linux and Windows.
The device allows users to dual-boot between Android and Windows. On Android, users can enable desktop mode, while Linux runs through a Debian-based environment. When connected to an external monitor, the phone delivers a full desktop experience for both Linux and Windows 11.
The NexPhone is powered by a Qualcomm QCM6490 processor, features 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 6.58-inch 120Hz display, a 64MP camera, wireless charging and 5G support.
Priced at $549, the phone is aimed at professionals and power users who want a portable multi-OS workstation. Nex Computers says shipments will begin in Q3 2026, and pre-orders are available with a refundable deposit.
